Dr. Eric Gebhart

Owner

Dr. Eric Gebhart brings over 30 years of experience in chiropractic care, patient wellness, and clinic leadership to Hart & Hand Chiropractic. As a former professional cyclist, bodybuilder, and personal trainer, he knows firsthand the importance of keeping your body moving and healthy—and he’s passionate about helping patients of all ages do the same.

Dr. Gebhart was the clinic director of a large local clinic, going from zero patients to seeing hundreds of patients weekly.  Previous to that, he worked in the Executive Health group for Memorial Hermann Hospital.  He has also taught anatomy and massage therapy and served as a Designated Level 2 doctor for the State of Texas.

With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University and a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Brenau University, Dr. Gebhart has advanced training and experience in the treatment of chronic neck pain and complex cervical conditions. He frequently utilizes upper cervical–specific (toggle) adjustments, a precise and gentle approach focused on the critical junction where the brain and spinal cord meet. Care in this area can play an important role in improving conditions such as headaches, migraines, post-concussion symptoms, tinnitus, Ménière’s-type symptoms, and certain breathing or balance issues.

One of Dr. Gebhart's greatest adventures, and maybe the coolest one of all, was doing mission work in the Ukraine with other doctors and ministers. It was an honor and very inspirational as well as educational to be a part of that very prestigious group. Something that he will never forget.

Dr. Gebhart is pleased that red wine and dark chocolate have been found to be healthy because he loves the stuff. He and his wife, Trish, love their beach vacations and just traveling in general. They have a big wish list of places they still want to visit. When staying here locally, they enjoy being around the house, taking drives to local places all around Texas in search of the best barbecue. They also enjoy spending time with their two Doodles, Mollie and Harley, who consider themselves humans, trapped in dogs' bodies.

At Hart & Hand Chiropractic, Dr. Gebhart’s mission is simple: to help every patient feel their best, move freely, and thrive in life.

Dr. Heather Hanley Moncure

Dr. Heather Hanley Moncure graduated from Western Michigan University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 2019.  Her passion for chiropractic care began in her early 20s while training for marathons, when knee pain threatened to sideline her.  After just two chiropractic treatments, her knee pain was completely gone—an experience that inspired her lifelong commitment to natural, hands-on healing.

Dr. Heather has advanced education and training in the treatment of soft-tissue injuries and movement-based conditions across all stages of life. Her clinical focus includes sports injuries, pregnancy-related care, pediatric chiropractic for children, and evidence-informed myofascial techniques to improve mobility, reduce tension, and support healing.

She integrates gentle, effective hands-on therapies with chiropractic care to help athletes recover from injury, support comfort and mobility during pregnancy and postpartum, and promote healthy movement and development in children. Dr. Heather is also certified in RockTape® kinesiology taping, which may be used selectively to support soft-tissue healing and functional movement.

Outside the office, she and her husband, Caleb, a captain in the Houston Fire Department, are raising two young daughters (who keep them very busy!) along with their large dogs, Hank and Duke. Together, they enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors.
